<image:caption>I believe authenticity and connection are the keys to feeling like the best version of yourself. Norms that society promotes can feel crushing to anyone who doesn't fit within that pretty little box and my goal is to help you find freedom from everyone else's expectations. Therapy can sometimes seem scary, but doing that deep dive into learning more about yourself is one of the most rewarding things you could ever do. I’m ready when you are. I’m the kind of person who finds something to be passionate about regardless of the situation. A bit type- A and an ESFJ to the core. My happy place is with people and I have an unhealthy obsession with the Lord of the Rings. I’m a LMFT, which means I look at every problem as a complex system of relationships. My therapy style is direct and playful. I’m not afraid to push you out of your comfort zone, but I promise to be with you every step of the way.</image:caption>

At the conclusion of your treatment, I want you to look at yourself, your relationship, or your family with pride and confidence. As a DBT therapist who specializes in sex therapy, I’m all about bringing balance to my clients’ lives and moving away from rigid “right or wrong” thinking, especially when it comes to topics of sexuality and gender. <image:title>Carrie - Meet Carrie, a quirky sexpert with an open mind and an eye on science.</image:title>
<image:caption>I grew up in a small town in the Florida panhandle where the topic of sex was discussed through hushed whispers in the back of beauty parlors. Imagine my surprise when I found my dad’s Hustler magazines, scantily hidden in his office bathroom. I remember thinking that I should feel more shocked by these images and less curious about the people in them. It took me until adulthood to realize that the perceived need to feel shock (more like shame) was a societal issue, not my own. As a therapist, I come into a session with an empathetic, but matter-of-fact approach to sex and human desire. I understand that the sexual exploration of fantasies can feel confusing if they fall outside of what culture has decided is the “norm”. My goal, as your therapist, is to create a non-judgmental, sex positive, and empowering space to be curious about these feelings without the need to cure, label, or dismiss them. My favorite human experience is belly laughs through tears. I guess this is why I can quote so many lines of Steel Magnolias. On the flip side, I love horror movies and have a not-so-secret desire to have a ghost hunting crew. In my downtime, I like to explore this weird world with my family and rescue pupper, listen to true crime podcasts while doing jigsaw puzzles, and sing way too loud 80’s New Wave tunes. <image:caption>I believe that authenticity and autonomy are essential to achieving true self-actualization and personal fulfillment. It can be challenging to embrace our authentic selves, especially when there is pressure to conform to certain norms or expectations. When we accept ourselves for who we are and honor our individuality, we can break free from the limitations and pressures of societal expectations. We create space for growth, self-discovery, and meaningful relationships and are better equipped to pursue our passions and create the life we desire. As a therapist, I seek to meet each individual where they are in the present moment with empathy and non-judgement. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe and supportive environment for you to explore your experiences, feelings, and desires free from shame and isolation. We will work collaboratively to help you find comfort in yourself and achieve personal and relational empowerment. Outside of the office, you may see me mingling with the community and catching up with friends over coffee and crafts. In my downtime, I enjoy reading, video games, and indulging my inner Disney adult. I’m constantly trying new things, practicing new recipes, and currently can’t wait to find my next D&D campaign.</image:caption>

<image:title>Jaime - Meet Jaime – your favorite therapist’s favorite therapist.</image:title>
<image:caption>I believe in the power of collaboration and connection. The relationships I’ve nurtured – with both my community and myself – have been my lifelines through my darkest moments. For those of us with marginalized identities, cultivating intimacy and connection with others and ourselves is especially vital. It would be an honor to walk beside you on your journey toward embracing your most authentic self. My therapeutic style is highly collaborative and relational, which means that I want to co-create a plan catered to your wants and needs, I want to learn about the systems you’re part of to get a fuller sense of who you are and how you came to be, and I want to build a reciprocal relationship with you in which we are equals, mutually creating a path towards your own healing. Who I am as a therapist is the same person I am in life. A few things that capture my essence: I love stickers and cake. Concerts are a spiritual experience for me. I make it a point to pet as many dogs as I can (and I also love cats). I pole dance as a form of creative and sensual expression, though I recognize the privilege of dancing as a hobby and respect the hell out of professional dancers and sex workers. I read/watch a lot of coming-of-age stories and steamy rom-coms. San Diego and Boston are my favorite cities, but give me a ticket to anywhere and I’ll go.</image:caption>

<image:title>Molly - Meet Molly, who believes life isn’t always diamonds and rosé. However, when life comes knocking she will he here to help you answer the door.</image:title>
<image:caption>Hey, everyone! My name is Molly and I’m native to the Upstate. I graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in Social Work and have a passion for individuals who have undergone a traumatic event, the LGBTQIA+ community, those with Borderline Personality Disorder, and those deconstructing from religious upbringings or healing from religious trauma. A little bit about me: I’m a hardcore Persona 5 player, I have my black belt in American karate, I will want to hear all about your pets, and I’m an avid film buff. I love hearing diverse perspectives on the world and believe that a judgment free zone is the best means to accomplish our goals. As a therapist, I believe that we are all capable of healing and that stigmatization only hinders us from achieving our full potential. I don’t believe that one type of therapy is perfect for all people, and I also believe that you are the expert on your life. My role is simply to help you alongside the journey of healing and transformation.</image:caption>
